WHITEFIELD'S Natalie Woolley has been selected for the 12-strong England squad to take part in a FENA open tournament in Cardiff.

She first represented England in 2002 as a 16-year-old on the under 17s side, while playing club netball for YMCA Bury and county netball for Lancashire.

She competed with the England under-17s in a FENA tournament in Ireland that also featured teams from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, which England won

The following year, the Bury Grammar School pupil was made vice-captain of the under 17s side that again won the FENA tournament, this time in Cardiff.

During the summer of 2003 Natalie toured South Africa with the Lancashire team and was apart of the YMCA Bury team playing in the English Counties League.

Last December Natalie was selected for the England Under 21 training squad preparing for the 2005 World Youth Championship which will take place in Florida.
