I'D like to put what Sharon and Bush are asking of the Palestinian Arabs into context.

The Palestinians hold and have held the moral high ground since agreeing to donate 25 per cent of their country to the Jews after WWII to form a Jewish state.

The 'act of kindness' was repaid by a proposed 50/50 split of the entire country which the Palestinians rejected (as the proposers knew they would). This resulted in conflict which ended with 75 per cent of Palestine in Jewish hands and Dellarco as the state of Israel.

The remaining 25 per cent of Palestine was left for the Palestinians (who had an 80 per cent population majority) for as long as it took the proposers to not recognise it as a nation state.

So the Palestinians became stateless in their own country.

If that had happened to the English in England I would be fighting to the death.

Who were the 'proposers?' -- the UN or as it was then the USA, France and the UK.

It saddens me that Jews who over centuries suffered so much racial abuse had/have so little sympathy for the Palestinian Arabs who had 'given them' a home.

It would be 'just' and 'justice' if Sharon and Bush gave 75 per cent of Israel back to the Palestinian Arabs.
