A YOUTH from Barnoldswick has been mugged by three men while walking along a street in Nelson.
The 18-year-old was walking down Ellen Street at 9.15pm on Friday when he was approached from behind by three men thought to be aged between 18 and 22.
One of the men punched him in the left side of the face while another tried to choke him.
The trio made threats of more violence before running away with a mobile phone and a quantity of cash.
The three men are all described as being white. The first was 5ft 9in, of slim to medium build with a local accent, thick eyebrows and fair stubble.
He wore a hooded sweatshirt and dark trousers.
The second was described as 5ft 7insand wore a black baseball cap, black anorak and black trousers.
The third man was described as 5ft 7ins.
