A NEW Tesco Express will open in Burnley next month.
The final touches are being put to the store which will open in Casterton Avenue on Monday, May 24.
As well as full supermarket facilities, the store will also have a petrol station on the forecourt.
The supermarket giant say the Express store is one of dozens opening up across the UK as part of a drive to get stores into the heart of communities.
Over the next few weeks Tesco will be recruiting staff to work at the new Tesco Express store, anyone interested can telephone the recruitment hotlineon 01707 295 229.
A spokesperson for Tesco Express said: "Tesco have recognised the need for quality, convenient shopping outlets and this area is one of the areas to benefit from Tesco's latest investment programme.
"Tesco have listened to customer requests for smaller outlets."
