THOMAS Grainey, in an unfamiliar hooking role, was the star man for Leigh East U12s as they beat Chorley Panthers 20-7.
East only had 12 men due to injury and illness but still managed tries from Littlewood, Crook, O'Toole and Lythgoe. Gunning kicked two goals.
