A YOUNG chef at Nelson and Colne College has made it through to the finals of a nationwide competition.
Jordan Glass has been chosen as the college finalist in the New Covent Garden Food Co contest.
His tomato, pepperoni and parmesan soup recipe won the chef a place in the 'cook off' against six others at the end of the month.
The winning soup will take pride of place on supermarket shelves as part of the New Covent Garden Food Co range.
