AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD boy received serious head injuries after falling from a trailer on the beach at Knott End on Thursday evening (May 13).
The young boy was one of three being driven along the beach in a trailer, which was also carrying bikes, when he fell out and sustained serious head injuries, police said.
The youngster was transferred to Pendlebury Children's Hospital.
Lancaster Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened shortly after 8pm, to contact them on 01524 63333.
