MY husband and I have just returned from Radcliffe town centre and must say how much we enjoyed sitting on wooden benches, not backless pieces of concrete, as well as the greenery, rather than looking at the ugly features of the Longfield centre in Prestwich. The only things to admire in Prestwich are the newly-paved areas.
