A FYLDE pensioner dubbed the 'Blackpool Womble' over his penchant for hoarding other people's rubbish is set to feature in a new '...from hell' ITV documentary.

Dennis Bostock, 67, achieved notoriety as the Fylde's very own 'Great Uncle Bulgaria' after being sentenced to a three-month jail sentence for a series of environmental health offences in October last year.

Despite several warnings and a High Court injunction the former council worker - currently of no fixed abode - was finally evicted from his Bloomfield Road home last summer after notching up more than £12,000's worth of council clearing costs.

Now the makers of hit ITV documentaries such as 'Weddings From Hell' and 'Neighbours From Hell' are set to make him the star of their latest offering - 'Filthy Homes from Hell'.

The one-hour show is set to be aired in the autumn and features an in-depth interview with Mr Bostock who has spent the last five months living in temporary hotel accommodation around the resort.

It is also expected to include exclusive video footage submitted by the team of Blackpool Council environmental health officers who spent three-days shifting piles of rotting rubbish and fumigating the pensioners former home.

A spokeswoman for the show said: "We first became aware of Mr Bostock at the height of his fame last July.

"After some research we managed to get hold of photo and video footage from the council's environmental health team who went in to clear his house.

"We must admit that over the course of making this programme we've encountered some truly stomach-churning images from across the country.

"But Mr Bostock is definitely in a league of his own."
