PRIME Minister Tony Blair is due to make a flying visit to the borough this morning (Friday)to meet some of the area's crimefighting force.
He will stop off at a location, undisclosed for security reasons, where he will meet Bury South MP Ivan Lewis, Radcliffe-based Euro MP Gary Titley, Greater Mnachester Chief Constable Mike Todd and Inspector David Jones, head of Prestwich and Whitefield township.
