I HAVE been reading about the problems of parking around the Infirmary area. Up to now, we on Pilmuir Road don't have to pay to park outside our homes but we still have problems.
When Rovers are playing at home we get people parking on the grass verges. So where we should have nice grass, we just have mud.
Last time Rovers were at home, I waited at the bus stop on Pilmuir Road only to see the bus go down Manxman Road because he couldn't get down the road for cars parked on either side.
I approached the council about ripping the verges out and concreting the areas but was told "no money." They have people coming to mow the "grass" but all they do is churn up the mud.
