ACCRINGTON Stanley goalkeeper Jon Kennedy was due to arrive back from South Carolina today after helping the England National Game XI earn a 0-0 draw against the United States USL Representative XI.
Kennedy, who has yet to agree a new deal with the Reds for next season, replaced Matt Baker for the final 10 minutes of the game at the Blacbaud Stadium.
Stanley transfer target Ian Craney played the first half of the match, which was the return leg of a two-match series following England's 2-1 win in March 2003.
Kennedy was put under pressure just two minutes after his introduction but Steve Klein's right foot shot whistled past the post.
