WHAT message is being given out by all these car drivers who display the England flag?
Presumably it gives out the message that the car drivers are fine upstanding Englishmen.
Why then did I see a car with not one but two flags aloft, parked in a Disabled Parking Bay outside a local supermarket? The car was not displaying Disabled Parking Badges.
Three people who all looked able-bodied came back to the car carrying their purchases. How selfish can you get?
What a contrast to the war veterans we saw on June 6. Each and every one of them worthy of carrying the England flag!
