A CYCLIST from Radcliffe has died after being involved in a crash at a busy road junction in Bolton.
The 44-year-old man was cycling along Crompton Way, near the junction of Bury Road, when he was in collision with a Toyota Corolla, which had already collided with a number of parked cars, at around 4.30pm on Monday afternoon.
The man, who has not been named, was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital with head injuries and he died later.
Firefighters were called to help the 78-year-old car driver, who was trapped in his vehicle. He was also taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital and was under medical observation.
