IN last Friday's local election coverage, we incorrectly stated that in Hyndburn the Conservative Party gained one seat from Labour.
The Conservatives in fact gained two seats from Labour - one in Accrington Central and one Netherton ward, Great Harwood.
The error was due to incorrect information given to us by Hyndburn Council. The make-up of Hyndburn Council is now Conservative: 20, Labour: 15.
