A 25-YEAR-OLD was badly hurt when his motorcycle collided with a car on the A59 at Clitheroe.
Scott Wilson Mayer, of Boswell Close, Darwen, suffered multiple breaks to his left leg and was airlifted by ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital.
The head-on collision happened near the turning for Worston.
Toyota Carina driver Mohammed Yaqoob, 55, of Ripon Street, Blackburn, who was heading towards Gisburn, escaped with minor injuries.
He was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
Police were on scene for three hours as the road was closed in both directions.
