THE Bull's Head at Wilpshire, Blackburn, reopens this week after a major refurbishment.
It has been closed for five weeks for improvements to be carried out and a special preview evening was held on Friday to give regulars and potential new customers a chance to eat and drink in the new, modern and spacious surroundings.
Graham Best, operations director at The Bulls Head, said: "The evening was a great success.
"Almost 250 people attended and they all loved the new bar. It is really comfortable and a lot brighter."
The new owners are planning to develop the Bull's Head into a concept bar where the contemporary furniture and fittings can be bought by patrons.
Mr Best said: "Everything will be on sale to the public, from pieces of furniture to floral arrangements, which we can have delivered to a customer within 24 hours.
