CONSERVATIVE councillors won an overwhelming victory at two parish elections.
The results for North Turton and Livesey were returned as the dust started to settle after the Blackburn with Darwen council elections.
In Livesey, an all-Tory parish council was elected, with Mary Ainsworth, Marion Charnley, David Goss, Derek Hardman, John and Kasia Malowana-Murphy, Chirstopher Tattersall and Helen Tipping all taking office.
In North Turton, Green Party candidate Kenneth Mciver and Conservatives Edward Thomas and Marion Thomas were elected with 466, 508 and 500 votes, respectively.
