FORMER Blackburn Rovers ace Len Butt died at the age of 83. Len played at Ewood between 1936 and 1947 and won a Division Two Championship medal as well as a runners-up medal for the 1940 war time FA Cup Final.
He died at his home in Macclesfield after suffering a series of strokes.
