HEALTH bosses will look at facilities for the blind in Lancashire after a report claimed GPs were not fully aware of their needs.
A report by the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association said more than 57 per cent of those surveyed felt aspects of GP service needed improving.
David Rogers, Primary Care Trust in Hyndburn and Ribble Valley, said: "The trust takes very seriously reports from groups like the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and we need to come up with an action plan."
Joyce Ferguson, secretary of Blackburn and District Society for the Blind said there were no complaints and believed people generally felt happy with visits to their GP.
