BURY man Mustafa Ilyas is not a businessman who does things by half.
He's opened a new takeaway and diner in the town's Bolton Street -- next door to his own licensed restaurant!
Now, 24-year-old Mustafa will be catering for all tastes. And he will also capture day-time trade to complement his evening restaurant.
He has taken over a former amusement arcade premises as the base for his new Dixy Chicken takeaway and diner.
"Dixy is a franchise which I've bought into," explained Mustafa. "They have about 100 diners nationwide."
The fact that the diner is right next door to his already thriving Paradise Balti licensed restaurant will pose no problems, he stresses.
"There won't be any competition -- both will deal with a different clientele. The balti restaurant is open in the evenings while Dixy will be operating during the day.
"We will have seating capacity in the diner for 35 and seating outside for 16. And we will also be operating a takeaway service."
