I THINK it is wrong that anyone who has been elected by the voters should resign and form themselves as independents, or join another party.
Anyone who has resigned a position has given up their right to that post, whoever they may be or whatever party they belong to.
No one should be able to change to another party. This is making a farce of the voting system.
It should be a vote by the public who we want to run our town, not individuals promoting themselves. This could lead to more trouble for Blackburn with Darwen Council and any other town it happens to.
