BATTEN down the hatches, stormy times lie ahead for the good ship Blackburn with Darwen.
The shameless mutineers and their grubby collaborators have taken over.
Even more worrying is the identity of the new man at the helm, Colin Rigby, a man who last year declared Blackburn to be a "grotty mill town" which could not hope to compete with the likes of Preston.
With views like these, I am sure potential investors will be falling over themselves to invest in the borough.
Let's make sure he and his motley crew are made to walk the plank at the earliest opportunity, then again maybe he can be persuaded to jump ship, just like his new pals.
NEIL DUCKWORTH, Spring Meadows, Darwen.
