SCHOOLCHILDREN were left in a spin after learning the ropes from an American Yo-yo expert.
Around 200 youngsters from Great Harwood Primary are now hoping to become top spinners after Eric Herroon showed them some of the tricks of the trade.
The professional performer, from St Louis, has performed his act from the White House to Disney Land in America, and is currently on a four-week tour of schools in Britain.
Teacher Simon Frost said: "There is a veritable trend going on now with all the children wanting yo-yos which are more technical than ever.
"He showed the whole school all the tricks and was a typical American, very enthusiastic.
"But the message was an important one - that children can succeed at anything if they practise and try really hard."
