FOUR thugs are being hunted by police after they tried to rob a man.
The 29-year-old was confronted by the gang in Albert Avenue, Sedgley Park, Prestwich, at 4.40pm on Saturday (July 17). One of the gang demanded money from him before something was thrown at the victim's leg, causing a large bruise. The thugs ran off.
All four were Asian, aged between 15 and 18. One was of medium build and was wearing a black baseball cap, black jacket and dark trousers. Two others were stocky and wore beige jackets while the fourth wore a baseball cap and dark clothing.
