BOOTHSTOWN Methodist Primary School held its first football tournament for boys and girls.
Previously the school has run boys-only tournaments but, from this year, the separate girls tournament will become a regular annual fixture.
Boys played seven-a-side and girls played six-a-side.
The football in both tournaments was of a high standard and all games were played with great spirit in beautiful sunshine.
In both contests, Boothstown Methodist Primary School won with Holy Family Boothstown coming runners-up.
