THE Rossendale Players have announced the line-up for their 69th season.

It opens on September 25, at the New Millennium Theatre, Waterfoot, with a week-long performance of The Ghost Train, a classic comedy thriller.

Between November 16 and Saturday 20 November the players will perform Don't Dress For Dinner - a farce about a French man, Bernard, who packs his wife off to see her mother for the weekend while he entertains a mistress and hires a chef to cook for them.

Castings for the play takes place in the New Millennium Theatre at 7.30pm, Monday.

Other performances include Last Panto in Whitewell Bottom, a one act play, Love on the Dole adapted from Walter Greenwood's novel about Lancashire, Blue Remembered Hills, by Dennis Potter, Scandals, the life and liver of Frank Randle and Bernard Wrigley's Christmas Party.
