THE START of heats for the Radcliffe Powersound competition have been put back a week.
The contest, at Radcliffe Civic Suite, on Thomas Street, was due to start last night (August 4) but will now take place on August 11. The remaining two heats on August 18 and 25 will still be held, with further possible dates to be arranged.
This is the fifth time the competition has been run, and a first prize of £300 will be awarded to both the best band and the best singer. For details contact Radcliffe Civic Suite on 253 7812.
