WHITEFIELD fire crews didn't have far to travel when they were called out to deal with a road traffic accident right outside their station.
A car had collided with the rear of a trailer near to their station forecourt in Bury New Road at noon on Monday (Aug 2).
No-one was injured and fire fighters simply made the two vehicles safe before traffic police arrived to deal with the minor bump.
