THREE teenage boys are being hunted by police after they carried out a ride-by robbery.
A 20-year-old man was walking along Thatch Leach Lane in Whitefield, at 11.30pm on Sunday (Aug 1), when he was surrounded by three teenagers on bicycles.
One of the offenders asked the victim for the time. When he pulled his mobile phone from a pocket, the cyclist snatched it from his grasp and pushed the man.
The three youths, who are all described as black in their mid to late teens and all approximately 5ft 8 ins tall, rode off with the handset toward Bury Old Road.
Anyone who witnessed the street robbery is asked to contact Bury police's Robbery Unit on 0161 856 8093.
