FACE-PAINTING and a DJ school were among the attractions at The Great Outdoors Day in Nelson's Marsden Park.
Visitors also got the chance to see plans for a £1.5million restoration of the park.
Activities included owl and hawks displays, a climbing wall, sculptor display, drumming sessions, charity stalls including Activate Pendle, Caring Today, Pendle Cat Rescue and Lancashire Badger groups and a DJ school with EQ DJ Services and Walton High Summer School.
There were also a fairground, bouncy castle and circus skills.
Coun Mahboob Ahmed, portfolio holder for community and leisure, said: "The day offered great entertainment for the whole of the community to enjoy together. The Marsden Park marquee was also very enlightening for all those who want to see how the park will be restored to its former glory."
Events officer Sameera Asghar said: "The day was great fun for all the family with a large variety of activities to suit everyone's tastes from henna painting to fairground rides and climbing walls to sculptor exhibits."
