RAMSBOTTOM moved to the top of the Musbury Fabrics Lancashire League as they scored victory over Rishton at Acre Bottom.
Church's slip up at home to fellow title contenders Nelson opened the door for Ramsbottom, who had professional Kartik Murali on form with 7-65 as Rishton made 185-9, and they sealed victory by six wickets.
Nelson are now just nine points behind the leaders. Martin Heap took 6-22 as they ousted Church for 89 and the Seedhill side went on to notch a 72-run win.
Todmorden pro Gyan Pandey thumped six sixes as he made 141 in the Centre Vale side's 33-run win at Rawtenstall.
There was a match-winning performance from David Ormerod, who took 6-81, as Bacup beat Burnley by 20 runs at Turf Moor.
Tama Canning hit 151 not out as Accrington beat Colne by 62 runs, Jonathan Finch was Lowerhouse's match-winner, hitting 88 and then taking 5-35 as they beat East Lancs by 33 runs, and Haslingden were away winners at Enfield by eight wickets, with Chris Harris taking an impressive 8-58.
