DEAR MASSI,
I visited the mela recently and thought the level of behaviour from some people was simply deplorable.
There is a lack of respect for other mela-goers and I was sworn at by a person in front of a so-called security person. The security person just laughed it off.
At another instance there were people fighting near the stage and they didn't care who they barged into. The police were helpful but the security near the stage was totally useless.
Melas have lost their family appeal due to organisers forgetting their target audience. There was very little for families to do and I spent an hour there before taking my family home.
I feel Melas should be for everyone and not just for young people.
