More than 40,000 people experienced breathtaking fashion shows and a dazzling array of exhibitors at the Asian Lifestyle 2004, in the prestigious Olympia Grand Hall.

The event was held in association with Sony Entertainment Television Asia, is the largest exhibition of Asian culture in Europe and the first Asian show ever to be staged at Olympia.

Anthony Lyons said: "The opening day saw one of the highest attendances for a launch show at Olympia, which I believe is a tribute to the event's unique combination of imaginative content. It is a pleasure to welcome such a bold, creative and successful show to our venue and I look forward to watching the show go from strength to strength."

Visitors were wowed by daily catwalk shows showcasing a fusion of fashion, music and adrenaline pumping choreography, where top Indian models presented some of the hottest new designs in Asian fashion. There were spectacular performances from music maestro Rishi Rich, R,n,B sensation Jay Sean and Canadian songster Raghav. Visitors were thrilled by the exclusive autograph signings with silver screen beauties Bipasha Basu, Sonali Bendre and Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham.

There was something to cater to the needs of each and every guest, from astrology readings and beauty makeovers to a cookery theatre and recruitment village.
