A NEW advice centre for disabled people at Blackpool Victoria Hospital is 'a great success' its founders say.
The centre, staffed by Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre's Disability Information and Support (DIS) service, helps with questions and issues faced by disabled people, families or carers visiting the hospital.
The service is funded by Blackpool NHS Primary Care Trust and is based in the PALS rooms on the hospital's main corridor on Thursday afternoons. It can be contacted on Thursdays on 655588, or daily through DIS on 625553.
