FANCY making a splash?
Radcliffe Swimming Club are on the lookout for players for their various teams, the latest of which, pictured left, took part recently in a tournament at Radcliffe Pool.
Mini water polo, like the senior game is played with five players per team in the water at any one time. Games are played usually across the width of swimming pools, although the rules are flexible, depending upon the ability of the players.
The more experienced tend to play in deep water, the less experienced play in the shallow water.
Mini water polo has been introduced by the Borough's Sports Development Unit, in collaboration with Radcliffe Swimming Club.
Children interested in taking up the sport can contact Neil McCheyne on 0161-724 9223
