STEVE Middleham married well-known Atherton swimmer and athlete Tanya Williams in a happy but sad ceremony at Sacred Heart RC Church at Hindsford.
After their wedding on Saturday the doors closed for the last time at the Tyldesley Road church -- although parishioners are campaigning for a reprieve.
