THE new face on the beat is PC Chris Linton. PC Linton is the new community beat officer for the Hillock Estate and is based at Whitefield police station.
The 40-year-old is married with three children and has been in the police force for 10 years.
Residents may recognise PC Linton as he has worked in Whitefield, Prestwich and Radcliffe for several years but recently took over the role of CBO from PC Chris Bridge, who has been promoted.
PC Linton will be out and about on the streets of the estate and is happy to chat to residents about their concerns.
