BBC Radio 2 presenter Mark Radcliffe will host Blackpool's Illuminations switch-on this year.
The station's latest DJ, who grew up in Bolton, said he is looking forward to hosting the annual event, taking place in Radio 2's own 'arena' behind the Golden Mile on September 3. Blackpool Tourism said it is 'delighted' that the station will host the event again, for the eighth year running.
But as The Citizen went to press, the identity of who will throw the Lights switch was still under wraps.
