LAST Sunday, my 15-year-old daughter and I came into Blackburn to shop for her school uniform.
After leaving McDonald's my daughter realised she had left her denim purse containing £100 and her bank card on the table.
We rushed back to find that someone had handed the purse and contents in.
We hear so often of rising crime and having had my bag stolen recently I cannot express enough my gratitude to this person.
I hope that the person, or someone who knows them, is reading this so I can express my thanks and say that you have proved there are still many, many honest people out there. Thank you.

LAST Sunday, my 15-year-old daughter and I came into Blackburn to shop for her school uniform.
After leaving McDonald's my daughter realised she had left her denim coloured purse containing £100 and her bank card on the table.
We rushed back to find that someone had handed the purse and contents in. We hear so often of rising crime and having had my bag stolen recently I cannot express enough my gratitude to this person.
We have no idea whether the person was male or female, young or old. I hope that the person, or someone who knows them, is reading this so I can express my thanks and say that you have proved there are still many, many honest people out there. Thank you.
