A HOSPICE volunteer has been out and about in Burnley collecting and replacing donation tins from homes, shops and businesses across the borough.
Terry McMahon, from the Rosehill area of the town, has been helping the hospice for the past four years.
He said: "I find it very rewarding as I enjoy helping people and it is my way of thanking God that I am still well enough to help others."
Christina Cope, community fund-raiser at the hospice, said: "It is only through the support and efforts of people like Terry that we are able to continue caring for people suffering from cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
"We are very grateful for the his support and of course donations from members of the public."
