A MASSIVE search was launched by police in Brandlesholme on Sunday for a missing four year old boy.

Meanwhile, police foot patrols scoured land and lodges off Garside Hey Road where it was believed the youngster had gone fishing.
The alarm was raised at 2.20pm when the boy failed to return home from the lodges. Members of the public joined in the search and the child who was found safe and well an hour later at a friend's house.
