A SCHOOL is reaching for the stars as part of its bid to become a specialist school in Burnley.
Habergham High School, Kiddrow Lane, is aiming for specialist college status in science and engineering, a status which would bring with it an extra £650,000 in government cash.
And the school held a science fun day to help boost the fund. Attractions included exhibitions of a rocket, a Russian cosmonaut suit and driving and flying simulators.
