DEREK Egan has warned his Ramsbottom United side to be faster out of the blocks when they take on the table toppers for the second time in a week.
Tonight's visit to Fleetwood Town sees Egan pit his players against the Division One leaders for the second week running, following their clash with Bacup Borough seven days ago.
And the Rams boss knows his team will have to be on their guard if they want to pull off a repeat of the 0-0 draw which ended Bacup's 100 per cent start to the season.
Egan was disappointed with the amount of time it took Ramsbottom to get into their stride before finally seeing off Evenwood Town 3-0 in Saturday's FA Cup preliminary round tie.
"It's important that we come out of the traps tonight and play to our full potential," said Egan.
"If we don't we've got problems. It's the same as last week against Bacup, Fleetwood aren't top for nothing and they have good individuals who are obviously putting it together as a team."
Euan Purcell faces a late fitness test but Chris McKay and Kyle Ingham are back in contention after picking up knocks against Bacup.
Matt Houldsworth has also returned to the club after a spell working away.
