FORMER pupils at Colne Grammar School are trying to get in touch with their old friends for a reunion.
Four girls people will remember as Barbara Binns, Carolyn Riley, Kathryn Kennedy and Margaret Beechey, who still meet up regularly, are trying to get the class of 1964 together 'forty years on'.
The Class of 1964 last met up 30 years ago, and this year they are meeting at the Fence Gate Inn on October 1 at 7.30pm. Many people have been found but Carolyn has a roll call of former friends who the team are trying to locate.
They are: Michael Bolton, Philip Bottomley, G Flanagan, Roger Hanslip, K Jackson, David Mellor, Ian Sharp, Eric Shutt, David Whittaker, Frank Whittaker, Brian Wilcox, Judith Brown, Karin Mochan, Dorothy Philips, Christine Roth, D Baxter, N Corrigan, Stephen Hartley, N Horsfall, Keith Hudson, D Shaw, Margaret Cowgill, Marvin Cowling, Marilyn Darnbrook, Freda Greenwood, Catherine Higgins, Jennifer Rukin, Susan Shaw and Claire Shepherd.
Anyone with information should contact Carolyn on 01282 617908.
