SOCIAL services have teamed up with dual impairment charity SENSE to find out how many people in the borough may need specialist support.
The council has no specialist services for deafblind people, and needs to know how many there are and what help they need.
Council project officer Dave Partington said: "The project is also designed to support and empower people who are deafblind and their carers to enable them to gain access to services as well as helping local services improve accessibility for deafblind people."
