READERS are being invited to vote for the top ten novels which have transformed the way women see themselves.
Local libraries are taking part in Radio Four's Women's Watershed Fiction event, but men are allowed to have their say as well.
Five libraries in Ainsworth, Brandlesholme, Radcliffe, Unsworth and Whitefield are taking part. Visitors can borrow the books on the longlist, pick up a Women's Watershed Fiction leaflet, nominate their personal watershed book or listen to the programme online on the People's Network computers.
