THE world's largest fitness centre franchise has moved into Radcliffe.

For, next Monday (Sept 20) sees the opening of the newest Curves location at Pilkington Way.

The new centre -- for women only -- brings to residents throughout the area a supportive environment, offering 30-minute fitness solutions with a common sense weight loss programme that helps break the weight loss cycle.

To celebrate the fact that Curves is establishing its first centre in the area, a grand opening will take place on Monday.

Business partners Michelle Delew and Carolyn Calmonson are the local Radcliffe-Whitefield franchise owners and the centre will specialise in providing a one-and-a-half hour workout in just 30 minutes.

Michelle explained: "Because the machines are hydraulic they are double positive, meaning you can achieve the equivalent of a one-and-a-half-hour workout in half-an-hour.

"Curves offers a comfortable, welcoming place where real women work out. Our facility is designed so women can encourage and support one another while moving around the circuit."

Carolyn added: "We are excited to become part of the Radcliffe-Whitefield community and we look forward to offering women in this community really amazing results, both physical and emotional, through our Curves workout programme and support network.

"Helping say goodbye to unhealthy lifestyles, unattainable diet resolutions and unreasonable fitness regimes gives women a new outlook on exercise and feeding their body properly."

Michelle hails from London and Carolyn comes from Dublin.

Curves will be open for five days a week at its Pilkington Way location, beside Choices Videos.
