PADIHAM police are hopeful of raising £900 after a gruelling 25-mile charity trek.
Seven officers took part in the Three Peaks race climbing Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Inglenook in North Yorkshire - which took 13 hours.
Money raised will go to the Pendlebury Children's Hospital which has been treating the son of one of their colleagues, PC Justin Brown, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year.
Sergeant Debbie Carter said: "The trek was longer and harder than most of us expected it to be but we were spurred on by the fact that every penny raised would be going to an extremely good cause.
She added: "I want to thank everyone who took part and everyone who has sponsored us, including company sponsors like Bookers, Asda and Fraser Eagle."
