FA Cup Second qualifying round: Atherton LR 2 Hyde 3
NEIL Tolson's last-minute winner for Hyde broke Atherton LR hearts in a gripping FA Cup tie at Crilly Park.
Tom Foster's North West Counties League side almost pulled off a cup upset as they twice led their Unibond Premier Division opponents - and hit the post three times - before falling to defeat.
Phil Howard gave LR a seventh-minute lead. But Dale Johnson equalised within a minute for Hyde.
Steve Wynne restored LR's lead midway through the second half, only for Chris Lynch to level the scores just three minutes later.
LR looked to have done enough to earn a replay but then Tolson hit Hyde's winner after LR failed to clear a free kick.
